Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the agreement between you and Harrow Taxis. Booking a taxi and using our services implies your unconditional acceptance of the following terms and conditions.
Definitions
In this agreement, "Harrow Taxis," "we," or "us" refers to the service provider. "You" and "your" may pertain to any individual, business, or company making a booking with us.
Booking
2.1 It is your responsibility to allocate adequate time for your journey, particularly for situations such as airport transfers where punctuality is crucial. Harrow Taxis will not assume responsibility for delays resulting from your failure to allocate sufficient time to reach your destination or for your unavailability at the designated pickup time.
2.2 You are accountable for selecting a vehicle size that suits both passengers and luggage. Harrow Taxis does not guarantee the carriage of excessive luggage. Please be aware that any child, regardless of age, is considered a single passenger.
2.3 Passengers requiring wheelchair access should request this at the time of booking.
Prices & Payment
3.1 Harrow Taxis provides quotations based on the information you provide. All prices, unless otherwise indicated, exclude VAT, which may be added if applicable. We reserve the right to modify the quoted price in the event of material itinerary changes.
3.2 Our quotes include a 45-minute waiting period after the scheduled landing time and the cost of airport parking. Any waiting time beyond this will incur standard Harrow Taxis waiting charges. While we make efforts to accommodate flight delays, we are not obliged to do so.
3.3 Upon accepting a quote, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review this confirmation for accuracy. Failure to notify Harrow Taxis of discrepancies may result in delays or additional costs.
3.4 Payment for our services can be made in cash, credit card, or debit card.
The Service
4.1 You are responsible for the behavior of all passengers during the journey. If the vehicle is soiled, damaged, or negatively affected by a passenger, cleaning costs may be applied.
4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking is not allowed in the vehicle.
4.3 All children in the vehicle should be appropriately restrained based on their height, weight, and age.
4.4 We are not permitted to carry more passengers than allowed by licensing or insurance.
Cancellations
5.1 If you need to cancel your booking with Harrow Taxis, please do so as soon as possible. Cancellation after dispatch may incur charges based on the time and distance covered by the driver up to the point of cancellation.
5.2 For bookings made through our online system, cancellation before vehicle dispatch may result in charges to the original payment.
Liability
6.1 While we make every effort to ensure timely arrivals, we are not liable for losses due to circumstances beyond our control. Harrow Taxis will not be held responsible for any losses incurred by you or your business.
6.2 Your luggage is carried at your own risk.
6.3 In case of a breakdown during your journey with Harrow Taxis, we will provide an alternative vehicle to allow you to complete your journey promptly.
6.4 You shall not hold Harrow Taxis responsible for expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from the actions or omissions of anyone in your party.
6.5 No party involved can exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death resulting from negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or other matters classified as unenforceable under applicable laws.
Termination
7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any passenger poses a risk to a vehicle or driver, whether through abuse, violence, or damage. No refunds will be issued for terminated journeys.
Miscellaneous
8.1 Harrow Taxis may subcontract its obligations as stated in this agreement. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer your rights or obligations under this agreement.
8.2 Harrow Taxis may change the terms and conditions at any time by updating this page. Please review these terms and conditions regularly to stay informed of any changes. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect at the time of booking.
8.3 We handle information in accordance with the guidelines of the Data Protection Act of 1988.
8.4 This agreement represents the complete understanding between Harrow Taxis and you.
8.5 Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to confer any benefit on a third party. Third parties have no right to enforce rights under this agreement unless a written agreement has been established.
Disputes
Any dispute or claim must be submitted within 30 days from the booking pickup date. Harrow Taxis is not obligated to consider claims or disputes submitted after this timeframe.
